Apple Week #2

I would say our Apple Theme was a success, especially after our trip to the orchard. Little Bear really seemed to enjoy learning about apples and apple cider and made a lot of connections over the last two weeks. This week, we enjoyed snacking on our apples from the orchard and even did some baking together! I'll let the pictures do the talking:

Trying her first Apple Crisp that she helped make

Rolling the apples up in the dough to make Apple Dumplings (these were super fun, easy and VERY yummy, here's the recipe)

Mmmmmmmm! Apple Dumplings and Vanilla Ice Cream!

Apple Prints

Apple Tree Season Sequence Cards

Apple Sizes Game found here

And a few other activities we threw in the mix this week....

Someone LOVES to paint!

Lacing Spools

Gluing glitter...I have found that "runny glue" is less messy when applied with a q-tip ;)
It feels like the weekend has just flown by and we are exhausted...but ready to begin another fun fall theme tomorrow!!! Can you guess what it is???
